This is a lovely park! We saw two games against the Yankees on a weekend in August as games #7 and #8 of our Baseball Roadtrip. The park was buzzing with Yankee fans, and folks supporting both teams were loud in their chanting but gracious to the opposition. 40% of Orioles annual attendance comes from games with Yanks and Red Socks -- so you can imagine the excitement. Fans were really energetic, and got ?the wave? going at a speed that was unbelievable. We sat in 200 level seats (Club Level) where they have menus and waiters bringing your food and drink, as well as numerous semi-upscale options if you don?t mind getting out of your seat. The 2nd night, we sat in field level seats that were equally as cool. Seating was a bit tighter than the Club level, but views were crystal clear of the stadium, the warehouse building and Baltimore Skyline. We took the ballpark tour (reserved ahead) and our guide, Mary, was incredible. A Baltimorion and obsessive fan, she spouted facts about the town, the park, the hall of famers and Babe Ruth that were really entertaining. For example, did you know that there are two owls in the stadium to help keep annoying birds away --- look for them, they are always there.

Great game in a great ball park. I think...

As a European, it's a must to see a baseball game, and Camden Yards was a great place to see it. It is clean and orderly and has a great selection of food and drinks for the game. The seats were good, and the show and everything around quite fascinating. I had the rules explained to me by an American friend and by the end of the game I understood most of what was going on. Except the 7th inning stretch. That was strange. If you're driving, sign up as a designated driver and get two free drinks.

Excellent for a first ballgame

OK, OK so we're tourists from Europe. It was my first ballgame and what a venue to have it in! I can safely say that I still have no clue what the rules are exactly, but from the perspective of a first timer - we had a remarkably exciting evening. The stadium itself looks fairly new, I'm sure someone can fill in on the details. If you throw a stone, you'll hit a food concession. On every of its three levels. I suppose at the end of the day, you go there for the baseball not so much for the architecture. The atmosphere at a ballgame is incredible, fascinating for us, we didn't know the cheers, the songs or the jeers, but the little girl (5/6?) sitting behind us certainly did and she epitomises the spirit of the game that evening. What I also enjoyed was being able to wander around the stadium while play was on and checking out the different seating areas and angles of view. I took a TON of pics that night. The Orioles lost that night.

A must see for any visitor.

I was lucky enough to be able to attend an Orioles ballgame at Camden Yards on July 5th, 2008. I would have to say this was the highlight of my trip, other than seeing my daughter of course. I got four tickets from a season ticket holder at a very good price, I even got a parking pass to lot "A" which is right next to the stadium. We were in section 60 row CCC which is the third row off the field and beyond third base. The seats were smaller than I thought they would be with no cup holders but we managed. You kinda have to turn your head to actually watch the batter do his thing, we suffered no stiff necks though. Before the game we headed to Boog's BBQ to see if the man himself was there, no such luck. We had to settle for just the BBQ which was great. Since I had the season tickets we headed for our seats 30 minutes before the non season tickets holders can. Just an added plus for the season ticket holders. As is probably every major league ballpark the prices for everything was terrible. Beer was $6.50, a small ice cream was $4.50......... I could go on and on. Even though the O's lost to Texas we had a great time and will do it again when we go back. If you can work it into your schedule a trip to Camden Yards is worth the time.

Great place to see a ballgame

My husband and I were at Camden Yards on May 29th and June 1st. It is a great place to see a ballgame, especially if you are a Red Sox fan, which we are. We would definitely go back again.
